WM | Quartis Geometry (Online/Offline)

Requirements AUKOM level 1 or basics of metrology and PC operation under Windows
Objective Introduction in WM | Quartis using CNC controlled measuring machines in order to measure geometrical work pieces and create measurement reports independently.
Subjects
  • Structure of the WM | Quartis Fluent user interface
  • Machine operation and settings
  • Calibrate reference sphere, probe systems and stylus changing system
  • Operation of the used articualting probe system from Renishaw
  • Import of CAD models, converter settings
  • Measuring all geometrical elements
  • Use of differen distributiin methods and parameter
  • Element graphics, range trend diagrams, point distribution
  • Construction and alignment using measured elements
  • Define and save coordinate systems
  • Evalaution of standard features according to DIN, ISO and ASME norms
  • Create and print reports
  • Create, correct, print and interpreting programs
  • Use of the integrated context sensitive help (QUARTIS Help)
  • Basic knowledge of work windows database, statistics, quick selection table
  • Error handling on machien and software
  • Practical exercises to deepen the learning content
Addition with offline training
  • Import of surface date in different CAD formats
  • Adding more CAD files and/or auxiliary files
  • Layer management for CAD model
  • Generating views and intersections
  • Offline program simulation with visual display and collision detection
  • Breaking an offline created program in on a coordinate measuring machine

 

WM | QuartisScanning (Online/Offline)

Requirements AUKOM level 1 or basics of metrology and PC operation under Windows
Objective Introduction in WM | Quartis using CNC controlled measuring machines in order to measure geometrical work pieces and create measurement reports independently.
Subjects Same as WM | Quartis Geometry training plus additionally:
  • Configuration and settings of scanning probe systems
  • Calibration of scanning probe systems
  • Outlier elimination and use of element filter methods (least square, low pass)
  • Prictical exercises with scanning probe systems

 

Update training from Metrosoft CM 3 to WM | Quartis

Duration 2 days

Requirements Experience in metrology with Metrosoft CM 3
Objective Update training from Metrosoft CM 3 to WM | Quartis
Subjects As Metrosoft QUARTIS Geometry or WM | Quartis Scanning, additionally:
  • New/changed functions in WM | Quartis/Metrosoft CM
  • Element graphics, creating reports
  • Extensioned with topics from special trainings
